Demo setsrecordings land with the first release

The part no benchmark can score.

Numbers are how we keep ourselves honest. A set is how you decide. These are the recordings we are preparing: full sets the engine played on its own, and one transition on its own, so you can judge the craft rather than the claim.

Coming with the first releaseThe recordings themselves, playable right here.Publishing a set means publishing the music in it, so these are being recorded from material we are cleared to release. Every card below turns into a working player the day its recording lands.

Three tracks, two joins

Built from openly licensed music, so we can hand you the whole thing rather than describe it. Both joins were rendered and graded before the set existed. It drops in partway through the opening track, the way a set does.

One join, on its own

Two tracks and the single blend between them, slow enough that there is nowhere for a bad join to hide. Different music from the set above; nothing is reused.

Techno--:--

Endless techno

The mode that played a real gig: it keeps composing ahead of itself, at one locked tempo, with every join measured.

Endless, measured-extend30 seams
Hip-hop--:--

Composed hip-hop

A planned set: the whole sequence chosen up front, then played as one continuous mix.

Planned, full-set pass18 seams
Single transition--:--

One seam, isolated

One blend on its own, so you can hear exactly what a graded transition sounds like without a set around it.

Single join, extended blend1 seams
Jazz--:--

Jazz, tempo-coherent subset

Jazz only holds together when the tracks already agree on a tempo, so this set is picked that way. It is the honest version of a hard genre.

Planned, quarantine-filtered12 seams
Ambient--:--

Ambient, long blends

Blends measured in minutes rather than bars, where you are not supposed to be able to find the join at all.

Planned, deep blend9 seams
Long-form--:--

A full night

The one that actually proves it: hours rather than minutes, and no track played twice from start to finish.

Endless, full session62 seams
How these are made

Recorded from the engine, not edited afterwards.

What goes up is what the engine committed to in advance. Three rules we hold ourselves to on every recording.

Built first, played second

Every transition is built as audio and graded before it plays. What you hear is what the engine committed to in advance, not a decision made in the moment that happened to work.

One tempo, whole set

Every track in a set is warped to a single locked tempo taken from the opener. That is why the joins do not wobble and why an hour of it does not drift.

No post-production

Nothing gets tidied up in an editor before it goes online. If a join sounds rough, either it got past our own quality check and we want to know, or the set does not go up at all.

Techno, hip-hop, jazz and ambient are the four genres the engine has been tuned and listened to on. How a transition gets made.
